  • Montezuma Waterfalls: Near the beach, along a path that crosses the rivers, you can access the three Montezuma waterfalls with heights of 5 feet (1.5 meters), 40 feet (12 meters), and 80 feet (25 meters).

The Montezuma and Santa Teresa area is located on the Nicoya Peninsula in the northwest of Costa Rica, bordering the Pacific Ocean. The region boasts rugged coastline with rocky cliffs and secluded beaches, as well as lush tropical forests. The area is home to a wide variety of wildlife including monkeys, sloths, and a variety of bird species. Some of the most notable animals found here are the White-faced Capuchin monkey, known for its intelligence and dexterity and the red-backed squirrel monkey, which is one of the smallest monkeys in the world. Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica is one of the five blue zones in the world.
