Thousands of Costa Ricans enjoyed the traditional illumination of the Children’s Museum Wednesday night when thousands of bulbs lit up the building’s facade. The activity also featured a Christmas-themed theater performance, music, and dancing.

The National Theater presents its annual Christmas play, the famous ballet, “The Nutcracker.” With the music of P.I. Tchaikovsky, and the performances of both Costa Rican and international high level dancers, “The Nutcracker” has become one of the most popular shows for Ticos during Christmas.
